Terms of Service
Last updated August 27, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before using Farhelm.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing the Farhelm website, account system, billing flow, or application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Farhelm provides software and related services for managing persistent tmux-backed terminal sessions through a browser interface. The product is designed for single-tenant operation on a host controlled by you or your organization.
The service may include account access, pricing and billing pages, application dashboards, project and worktree organization, terminal streaming, scrollback replay, session-state tracking, notifications, and support communication.
Farhelm does not make the commands you run safe. You are responsible for the shell commands, agents, scripts, repositories, credentials, files, and infrastructure you access through the product.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Use the service only on hosts and projects you are authorized to access
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, bypass, disrupt, or exploit the Service
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Use Farhelm to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, repositories, or data
- Upload, paste, or transmit secrets or confidential third-party data unless you have the right to do so
5. Billing and Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed through the payment provider shown at checkout. Subscription terms, renewal cadence, taxes, cancellation rules, and refund handling are presented during the billing flow or in account management screens.
If a payment fails, access to paid features may be paused or downgraded until billing is resolved.
6. Customer Content and Host Responsibility
Your repositories, command output, terminal input, project paths, worktrees, credentials, and local files remain your responsibility. Farhelm may process application data needed to provide the dashboard, stream terminal sessions, maintain account access, or support the product.
You are responsible for backing up your host and for securing any machine where Farhelm runs.
7. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed for maintenance, security, product changes, or legal reasons. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.
8. Intellectual Property
Farhelm, including its product design, application code, branding, text, and user interface, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Farhelm or of your own repositories and content.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, command execution mistakes, agent output, infrastructure failures, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
